Build lines you can actually remember

Create your own lines with side variations, and attach written coaching notes to any move. Notes are Markdown-formatted, so you can keep the reasons behind a move next to the move itself.

Each line is learned in stages, from shown, to assisted, to played from memory. Once it is learned, drill it with random branches so you are recalling the repertoire rather than one memorised path.

Test it against a live opponent

Reach any position in a drill and jump straight into a live game from it. Play against Stockfish at the strength you choose, or against an optional human-style Maia opponent once your preparation runs out.

Master games and related tactics

Search the Lichess master-game database from inside the line editor (this needs a free Lichess token), link the games that matter to a line, and step through them alongside your preparation. The editor also surfaces puzzles that test the exact positions in your lines.
